When in Rome... run

Rome is one of the world's great cities to visit. Filled with antiquities, wonderful historic sites, it's also a fantastic running city "as I was soon to find out".

I was worried about busy, traffic-choked roads which would difficult to navigate.

It was suggested from Roberto from Runninginitaly.com to to run in the Villa Borghese park. It is very close to via Veneto (Spanish Steps) and is the main running place of the city. Paths are so beautiful.

However, running along the Tiber River was a pleasure, especially since a bike path along part of it.

Great place to run and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
