We hope to go back to Milan again

We bring along our running shoes whenever we travel as we love running to explore different parts of the world.

We had finally visited Milan! We were following a tour group and therefore not able to do a planned run with your running community. Nevertheless we did our short run in Milan and love to share with you our experience.

My husband John Chai and I are from Singapore and we bring along our running shoes whenever we travel as we love running to explore different parts of the world.

This was our first visit to Milan. We came from Switzerland on Friday evening and had to leave on the following Monday. We were so glad that we managed to wake up early to catch a run nearby on that Saturday.

When we started running, we were greeted by the historic Milan Central Railway Station where many passengers were lugging their baggage and transiting to another part of the Italy.

As we ran outside the station, we found a beautiful symmetrical facade. Further down, we were attracted to the famous Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) and street graffiti.

We made a U-turn and ran back through a small path flanked by some colourful shophouses.

When we returned to the railway station, we were greeted by the Apple Made Whole Again.

We did some cool down stretches before returning to join our friends for the city tour that followed.

It was a great experience and we loved the architecture of the buildings with their rich heritage. We hope to go back to Milan again to explore and soak up more of her wonderful history and culture.
